Kenilworth Clinic, located in the leafy Southern Suburbs of Cape Town, takes its mission of restoring lives seriously, and is now part of the movement towards restoring the planet. The clinic has set out the the goal of lowering overall carbon omissions, and moving towards sustainability. Kenilworth Clinic has launched a number of green initiatives like their improved recycling programme, aimed at recycling, as well as reducing consumption of unrecyclable products, reusing items where possible. As part of the move towards sustainability, an extensive tree planting initiative has taken place. The importance and benefit of increased planting of trees has been widely recognized as a necessity for the preservation of clean air and healthy environment. Some other changes we have made include optimising the use of natural light. This means allowances have been made for natural light to substitute artificial lighting.
